Business Concept Assessment

Even though you may think you know everything you'll need to start your business, completing this in-depth Business Concept Assessment (BCA) will go a long way to save you money and stress, and guide you to find out answers to questions you may not have thought of yet. It is often difficult to determine how to research your business idea, especially if you have never been in business for yourself and you need to decide if your business idea has profit potential. By taking the time to do the work before starting your business you will understand:

  • your key products or services
  • the common characteristics and preferences of your customers
  • what your customers want and how much they are willing to pay
  • who your competition is
  • what current and future trends can affect your business
  • How much money you’ll need to start and how much money your business could make

The more you know about all of these factors, the better you can plan for success.

What you will receive:
  • a template form that will guide you through the development of your Business Concept
  • a thorough and complete evaluation of your Business Concept
  • feedback via email or telephone (if appropriate)
  • an opportunity to submit one (1) revision for follow up feedback

Job Skills' business experts (all experienced small business owners themselves) have been working with entrepreneurs from concept to implementation since 1997 and the evaluation of the BCA is the recommended first component before starting a business.
